A data frame of HPO terms downloaded from BioPortal on June 19, 2025. HPO describes human phenotypic abnormalities used in disease annotation.

Usage

hpo

Format

A data.frame with 6 columns:

id

HPO term ID (e.g., "HP:0001250").

name

Phenotype label (e.g., "seizure").

parents

Vector of parent term IDs.

children

Vector of child term IDs.

ancestors

All ancestor term IDs.

obsolete

Logical flag for obsolete terms.
